Using a weighted rope, without jumping, the rope is moved around the body using figure-8 patterns.

She brings her experience and expertise of the sports world, along with rehabilitative training. Erin has a Bachelors of Physical Activity Studies (now called Kinesiology) from the University of Regina.
Erin is a lifelong athlete, who has competed in various sports (basketball, volleyball, badminton, track & field and touch/flag/tackle football). She has always had a keen passion for sports, starting as a student athletic trainer of the Cougars Women's Basketball team and has been inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2020 with the Cougars.
She has been playing football since 2002, most notably with the Calgary Rage team and Team Canada (2010 & 2013 - Silver Medalist at IFAF Women's World Championship), Team Alberta (2016 - Bronze in Women's Canada National Cup) and participated in the 2022 Team Canada Red & White Game.
She has completed the CanFit Pro coaching certification, which includes annual continuing education course work and conference participation. This certification allows her to be a Personal Training Specialist, equipping her with the most up to date information and directions of the fitness industry.
Erin also has indepth experience coaching resiliency from a physical and mental health perspective having previously work for Alberta Health Services as the provincial coordinator of Mental Health Promotion, leading the development of resources and initiatives focused on improving mental health for all Albertans.
Erin leads and coaches our Aquatic Therapy program, Adaptive Contrast Oxygen Therapy (LiveO2), and "On the Ropes" program. (More info is below)
Erin has worked as a personal trainer since 2018 - bridging her passion for promoting resiliency and mental health with active living and fitness. Being a life-long athlete, Erin has had her share of injuries! The potential for injury lurks everywhere and Erin has worked her way back from many injuries throughout her sports career (and the odd life mishap!). Whether an injury is due to sport or life, there is a 'recipe' for bouncing back and Erin wants to help you learn it!
We never know exactly what life is going to throw our way; through her experience, education and training, Erin works to be the bridge at Active Solutions between what happens in the treatment rooms (to help 'fix' and reset a body) to helping keep those changes through activities and practices focused on improving mobility and function, and fitness levels, using custom designed and prescribed programs.
Whether in the pool, on the bike, lifting weights or On the Ropes, Erin is here to help you reach your rehabilitation or fitness goals.
